Dear Deborah,
**Thank you for encouraging us to pray for miracle pregnancies within the Christian Adoption Family. I’d dismissed the idea of having biological children; felt it was a bit of a betrayal to even think about getting pregnant. Thank you for reminding us to think outside the box about adding to our family through a miracle pregnancy!
**Thank you so much for what you shared in the Christian Adoption Prayer Calendar about praying for miracle pregnancies. I've read it and re-read it. It really spoke to my heart. I don't really think about getting pregnant any more, even though there’s no medical reason why I can’t have children. Looking back on all those months of painful infertility, all the heartache of not getting pregnant, all the hassles we went through to become parents—it was still totally worth it. I’d never trade our daughter for my own biological child. I'm actually GLAD I never got pregnant, because if I had, we wouldn’t have our daughter. Back then I never dreamed there would come a day that I’d say, “I’m glad I didn't get pregnant.” Even though we say that God has a plan for us, sometimes we don't live like we know God has a plan for our lives. All of my tears and frustrations over the fact that I didn’t get pregnant, seem so useless an pointless now--what a waste of time! I’ll pray for a miracle pregnancy, for us and for other Christian Adoption couples. Thanks for the encouragement!
