As I continue to meditate on "Ingredients", I think effort is key. Because effort or discipline is required to accomplish the list.
Whether it's having confidence, forgiveness, praying or letting go, they all demand effort. Lining up our thoughts according to His word is a choice, and even it requires effort.
When our spouses aren't on the same page, we may become prideful if we judge one another. But no matter how the list of ingredients is accomplished--getting them done is what matters. We each need to obey the Lord and do our part, but who does what first doesn't matter.
There's so much we can do to help ourselves in our Christian Adoption journey. I'm so thankful that we've been blessed with two wonderful sons, whom we're teaching to walk in His steps.
